How to Start Business Booklet Released!

GEDC, your local Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) has resources and professionals that can assist with business planning, start-up, maintenance and expansion. We also have a 3-Tier Lending Program designed to help finance businesses based on their needs.

We have just recently released our fourth edition in our Booklet Series “How to Start a Business”.   It takes the reader through the general stages of starting a business:  Developing the Idea, Planning for Success, Financing for Small Business, and Ready-Set-Go!  It is a great starting tool for someone who is thinking about opening / operating their own business.

Other booklets in the series are: Starting a Not-For-Profit Organization, Business Resource Guide, and Entrepreneur’s Responsibilities.  All of which are available in both official languages on our website report page at www.gedc.ca or in print at our office.   Our booklets are guides and provide general overviews for entrepreneurs and business owners.
