Sanitary Landfills

The Municipality currently operates 4 municipal sanitary landfills for the communities of Beardmore, Geraldton, Longlac and Nakina under the regulating authority of the Ministry of the Environment.

In addition, the Municipality operates 3 landfill sites owned by the Ministry of Natural Resources,
located at Wildgoose Lake, Camp 25, and Pamela Lake.
