Testimonials

"GEDC is a little bit like an embassy of Canada in this now-focal area of our province's north... They are an impressive group; we were quite surprised to find that level of business advisory skills in such a remote place."

Live Work Play

A great place to live work and play, Greenstone is rich in history and home to some spectacular wilderness.

Formed from the former towns of Longlac, Geraldton, Beardmore, Nakina, Jellicoe, Caramat, Macdiarmid and Orient Bay, the Municipality of Greenstone has a spirit that can’t be broken.

Each separate community has spirit of its own but as a whole Greenstone is the “Spirit of the North”.

Summer means fishing, hiking, canoeing, and just about anything else you can think of.  Winter in Greenstone provides lots of opportunity for snowmobiling, ice fishing, and snowshoeing to name just a few activities.
