The Greenstone Economic Development Corporation (GEDC) fosters and encourages the start-up and operation of successful enterprise in all economic sectors within the Greenstone Region. We are a community-based, non-profit organization administered by a volunteer board of directors representative of the communities within the Greenstone Service area.

Climate & Weather

The Greenstone region enjoys an ever-changing climate on a large scale.  During the summer months, the temperatures vary with daytime temperatures soaring as high as the low 30s, and cooling down dramatically in the evenings.  During the winter months, the average temperature is -14 degrees which is perfect for the various outdoor activities that the area offers.
