Business Directory Launched

Greenstone Economic Development Corporation (GEDC) has received funding through the Northern Communities Investment Readiness Program, as part of the ongoing community development projects. The ‘Greenstone Region Asset Inventory’ and ‘Greenstone Visual Satellite Imagery’ is one of several steps in enhancing the investment attraction/retention factors that could assist the Greenstone region in becoming investment ready. The information collected from the study has been made available to the public via the GEDC (www.gedc.ca) website as a Business Directory.
The goal of the Northern Communities Investment Readiness Program (NCIR) is to assist Northern Ontario communities in becoming Investment Ready. An Investment Ready community provides up-to-date comprehensive information on the community and region quickly for distribution. GEDC is encouraging individuals to visit the Directory and make suggestions about their businesses and others in the Greenstone Region. Please feel free to ‘Suggest a Business’ if your business is not listed. The Business Directory is available under the ‘Live Work & Play’ tab in both official languages. GEDC continues to pursue the preparation of the Greenstone Region into an Investment Ready community.
